I got glutened last week. Again! And again it happened after what seemed like an endless conversation about pitfalls, followed by nodding and quite convincing agreeance. Never the less, somewhere between waitress and chef the message got lost. Why must it be so hard?

Oh glory, I have found love.. In a wonderful world, far, far away in my wildest dreams, I can pop into a random cafe and pick anything off the menu. I might even have a cold beer with my meal! In my wildest dreams, right? Nope. Not any more!

All booked out on a Friday afternoon is usually a good sign. We had to sneak in between bookings, and I’m glad we did!
Gluten-free sanctuary in Dubai

Home away from home for my fiancée and I would be the Royal Meridien Hotel in Dubai. We just can’t stop falling in love with this heavenly place and we keep returning. It is where we had our first holiday together, and it is where he eventually proposed. I’ve been told that some people don’t […]

Nothing bugs me more than when self-proclaimed GF friendly restaurants fail to comply with their own promises.
Grand service in little Pukekohe
Posted on December 2, 2012 Leave a Comment
Who’d have thought a small place like Pukekohe could whip up such a grand and worldly display of service! My very first GF outing in “The Land of The Long White Cloud” proved a smashing hit. In the otherwise rather unpolished and rural surroundings of country town Pukekohe (south of Auckland), lies a surprisingly […]
