Spooky Chocolate Muffin Marshmallow Halloween Ghosts (Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Failsafe, low-FODMAP)
It’s that spooky time of year again, and parents of allergic children everywhere are rummaging through shop shelves and printing allergy labels in the hope that their little troll will be able to enjoy a scary, but not deadly, Halloween celebration.
Halloween can be a tricky event for kids with food allergies or coeliac disease, and of course for their parents! Finding the balance between staying safe, yet making sure your kids have just as much fun as everyone else, is nothing short of a challenge every year.
Fun and yummy alternatives to the store-bought sweets are a must, and if they are uncomplicated to make, it just makes life so much easier.
No-fuss, delicious and allergen-free Halloween treats!
A couple of years back I was on a strict elimination diet, and treats were hard to find. As Halloween approached, I was brainstorming ideas for kids on similar diets, and my Spooky Chocolate Muffin Marshmallow Ghosts arose from their sugary grave 😉
Since then, they have been the most popular guests at all of our Halloween parties, and this year I decided that they most certainly are worthy of a reappearance on the blog!
Say hello to Mr and Mrs Fright -my scary husband and I, from last year’s Halloween 😀
These very Spooky Chocolate Muffin Marshmallow Ghosts are sure to excite any little troll, and they are whipped up in a jiffy! They are delicious for both kids and grown-ups, and they’re certainly something different!
The best thing about them is that they will suit close to any intolerance and allergy, and you wouldn’t even know! Besides, who doesn’t love marshmallows?
