Delicious Chocolate Hamper Christmas Giveaway -with no gluten, dairy, sugar, nuts or artificial ingredients!

Big Christmas Chocolate Giveaway (dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, sugar-free, low GI) from Sweet William

My chocolate dreams have come true!

I have been introduced to a line of yummy chocolate in 18 varieties and flavours, which are all chocolatey goodness without the nasties! And you can win a whole hamper full of treats too! (giveaway at bottom of post)

Christmas is all about the treats, and on top of the treat list is chocolate; the all-time favourite! We bake it into cakes and desserts, chip it into cookies, heat it with milk and drink it, spread it on our toast, and stuff our faces with it all through the holidays.

The challenge is that most chocolate products contain some allergen or rather, and if you find a brand that is free of one, they have replaced it with another. You can find sugar-free alternatives that contain dairy, and dairy-free alternatives that contain nuts.. And ones that are free of both nuts, dairy and sugar, yet stuffed full of artificial preservatives and flavourings!

dairy-free gluten-free sugar-free nut-free Christmas Chocolate from Sweet William

The lovely people at Sweet William have taken onboard the challenge of supplying a product that caters for just about everyone! Their product range can boast with a free-from list that would give Santa’s naughty or nice checklist a run for it’s money! Just take a look at this:

  • Gluten Free
  • Dairy Free (no lactose or milk products of any kind)
  • Peanut Free
  • Tree Nut Free (eg almonds, cashews, macadamia etc)
  • Egg Free
  • No GMO Products – supplier certified
  • No Artificial Flavours
  • No Preservatives
  • No Artificial Sweeteners
  • No Added Colours
  • Cholesterol Free
  • Free from Animal Products
  • Vegan Suitable

I mean, come on; that’s impressive. I am a picky customer at the best of times, but even I struggle to find anything to point my finger at with this brand. They tick just about all the boxes for allergies and intolerances (note: they contain soy), and they taste really good! Creamy and milky, but without the milk!

My only note would be for lowFODMAP dieters to be mindful of the products with raw cane sugar and inulin; ingredients which are nothing but good for the rest of us, but which can upset ibs tummies.

A bunch of Sweet William’s products are also low GI and 25 % less sugar than regular chocolate, and my absolute favourite thing about their marketing is that they design their seasonal products to suit children! If you have an allergic child, your only wish for them (apart from them being safe) is that they don’t miss out; that they can be like their friends. And poor design that isn’t well suited for children will do just that; make them feel left out.

It’s so annoying when an otherwise good product has sad packaging; it’s one of the simpler things that matter so much to kids. Sweet William however, have nailed it! (read more about child friendly allergen-free lollies in this independent post – Sweet William is also featured here, with a different product).

Their packaging is wonderfully playful, with bold colours and cartoony characters. Just what a child would be attracted to!

Sweet William dairy-free gluten-free nut-free allergen friendly sugar-free natural ChocolateTake for instance their Christmas product; “Santas”. The bag contains 12 “fun size” individual santas, in colourful wrappers with Santa pictures. A child would think nothing different of it, from “regular” products in the shop.

Sweet William’s Christmas product is gluten-free (of course), dairy-free, nut-free, vegan and free of artificial ingredients. It has 25% less sugar than regular brands, and we all know how much sugar kids eat during the holidays; might as well cut down where possible. They won’t notice 😉

Sweet William is 100% Australian made and owned, and all labelling follows Australia’s strict guidelines. You can purchase their products in major supermarkets and health food shops, and also online through this website.

I definitely give Sweet Williams chocolate the thumbs up, and I intend to eat my way through a whole lot of Santa’s come Christmas!

..so can you as a matter of fact! The lovely people at Sweet William are giving away a BIG hamper full of delicious chocolate to one lucky reader!! Wouldn’t that just make the BEST Christmas present?!

  9. This year I discovered that I need to follow a dairy free, gluten free, soya free, inulin free, yeast free, coconut free diet – through a series of trials to work out what I could tolerate and what I can’t – so seeing this awesome basket filled with treats that not only I can eat but I could share with my family at Xmas time has left me with hope that I can eat treats sometime and not suffer for it afterwards – thank you!!!!!

    • Dear Jac, I can totally relate to the challenges of multi intolerances. It’s not easy in the beginning, to find products that you’ll love. Unfortunately, this giveaway ended a while ago, but keep your eyes peeled as there will be more coming up in 2017 🙂 -Kristine
